Herdwick Shepherd's Hut

It truly is a lovely hut in the most peaceful location if you want to get away from it all. Positive: The hut was lovely and what we needed was provided. The location is very rural on the end of a beautiful meadow of buttercups. Comfy bed and although compact, the shower was very good. The host was excellent and very responsive. Negative: The very narrow lanes to access the huts.

Incredible for a nice country side farmland getaway! Loved it. Positive: I and my partner loved the scenery, the quietness the sounds of the birds and the sheeps, the view was awesome loved it! Negative: Had everything we needed but a microwave.

Highly Reccommend! Positive: The area is fantastic and peaceful in the countryside, with amazing views. The place itself is lovely, with the perfect amount of space for 2 people to stay! Would definitely recommend! Negative: Nothing, it was all amazing!

Highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway ❤️ Positive: We had an absolutely amazing stay at the shepherd’s hut! Everything was spot on — beautifully designed, cosy, spotless, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. It’s the perfect place to enjoy some peace and quiet. The fireplace and the skylight were our absolute favourites — nothing beats a warm fire and falling asleep while watching the stars. ✨ Communication with the host was excellent, with super helpful tips on directions and local walks. The location is ideal if you’re planning to explore the Brecon Beacons. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay and would highly, highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. 👌 Negative: Nothing
